Today is a very special day for me.
Exactly 25 years ago — on the 31st of May, 2001 — I arrived in Germany with a suitcase full of dreams, uncertainty, spices from home, and absolutely no idea how deeply this country would shape my life.
Twenty-five years later, I’m still here.
Still evolving.
Still learning.
Still living between cultures — Indian, European, and unapologetically both.
And that’s exactly why I’m starting this new series.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing stories, reflections, and honest conversations about identity, friendship, reinvention, expat life, divorce, belonging, aging, travel, community, and what it really means to build a life between worlds.
This is not about perfect answers.
It’s about real experiences.
So if you’ve ever felt in-between cultures, in-between versions of yourself, or simply curious about creating life on your own terms…
you’re in the right place.
New write-ups will be coming every few weeks.
So stay tuned…
because this journey is only getting more interesting
